Hello sweet friends!
As promised, today I’m sharing a roundup of some of my favorite coastal-inspired art pieces—both from my own collection and from a few other artists and shops I admire. Whether you’re refreshing a space or just daydreaming about ocean air and sandy toes, these pieces bring that breezy, peaceful feel home.
One of the things I love most about coastal decor is that it doesn’t have to be all anchors and shells (though I love those too!). For me, coastal style is more about mood—soft colors, natural textures, and art that reminds you of your favorite places.
While I love curating and creating my own coastal artwork, I also draw inspiration from others—both small coastal shops I admire and even larger brands like Ballard Designs or Serena & Lily, who’ve made the light and breezy look so beloved. Their aesthetic aligns beautifully with the calming, coastal palette I love to paint with. One of my biggest dreams is to one day see my artwork or patterns featured in a store like Serena & Lily. The thought of my work living in a space known for its refined yet relaxed coastal style motivates me every time I step into the studio.
🌊 Here are a few pieces of Coastal artwork for the home I’m loving right now: From My Studio
“Sea Turtle Beach” Soft teals, sandy neutrals, and a gentle ocean friend—this print continues to be a favorite for coastal nurseries and beachy nooks alike. I always recommend choosing coastal artwork for the home that connects you to something you love—whether it’s a favorite beach, sea creature, or even a soft floral that reminds you of summer afternoons by the shore.

“Low country Light” Marsh Scene Painted with the calm of golden hour in mind, this piece captures the stillness and beauty of coastal marshlands.

“Hydrangea Blossom”A soft floral that fits seamlessly into coastal decor thanks to its pale blue and ivory tones. It pairs beautifully with natural woven textures and light woods and shades of green.

🌟 Coastal Artists & Shops I Admire
I’m always inspired by other artists and shops that celebrate the beauty of coastal living. The ones I’m sharing below don’t know I’m including them—I just genuinely love their work and wanted to highlight a few favorites that I think you’ll enjoy too!
Seafoam Studio – Dawn Newbern Art Dawn Newbern's Seafoam Studio offers a vibrant and colorful take on coastal art. Her original paintings and textile designs are fun, unexpected, and bring a joyful energy.
Caitlyn Goode – Caitlyn Goode Art Caitlyn Goode's vibrant, mixed-media floral and abstract works bring a fresh, expressive energy to coastal-inspired interiors.
🌟 Coastal Shops I Admire
Sunshine & Sweet Peas Coastal Décor – Virginia Beach, VAThis locally loved shop is filled with beachy charm and unique coastal finds, including a few of my own originals and prints! It’s always inspiring to see how they style artwork with natural textures and laid-back coastal flair.
The Salty Seahorse – Outer Banks, NC This eclectic OBX gem curates a beautiful mix of coastal decor and handmade pieces. Their shop has a relaxed, artistic energy that aligns perfectly with the coastal lifestyle I love.
Whether you’re drawn to sweeping marsh scenes, bold wave paintings, or soft florals in beachy tones, I hope this roundup inspires you to explore art that brings you joy and makes your space feel more like you.
Let me know in the comments or over on Instagram which pieces you love—or share your favorite coastal artist with me! I’m always looking to discover and support other creatives.
Until next time,💙 Paula
