Poquoson Tides is a vibrant coastal marsh painting inspired by the waterways and familiar landscape of my hometown — a place where blue water, tall marsh grasses, open skies, and quiet wildlife are simply part of everyday life.
A brilliant blue tidal creek stretches through layers of green marsh beneath an expansive cloud-filled sky. Weathered pilings rise from the water while a white egret stands quietly among the grasses, adding a small moment of life to the landscape. In the distance, the familiar tree line and horizon give the painting a true sense of place.
